The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join a growing Nottingham based business in the renewable energy sector. The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the digital strategy across multiple channels, managing budgets, and delivering impactful campaigns. It is an exciting time to join because they are in the process of building a new website to support their rapidly expanding business.This role is ideal for someone with a passion for SEO, content marketing, and a “test and learn” approach, who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead digital marketing strategy and execution across all channels, including website, email marketing, social media, automation, and paid.
  • Drive the development of a new corporate website, ensuring SEO best practices are followed, optimising user journeys, and maximising lead generation potential.
  • Oversee and optimise the digital marketing budget to maximise ROI across campaigns and channels.
  • Manage external agencies to achieve business objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality campaigns.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to create SEO-optimised longform content that drive organic traffic and conversions.
  • Proactively plan, execute, and measure A/B tests and other experiments across digital channels to improve conversion rates.
  • Deliver multi-phase marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager and Regional Sales Teams.
  • Own reporting of the marketing funnel, delivering monthly insights that highlight trends, identify opportunities, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to deliver MQL/SQLs pipeline targets, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales objectives

The successful candidate will ideally have 3 to 4 years of experience in a digital marketing role, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns.Proficiency in WordPress, Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Adobe Creative Cloud and Google’s Suite or equivalent platforms would be helpful in addition to experience with SEO tools (such as SEMrush). Strong SEO and content marketing skills will be helpful to drive organic growth.You will have an understanding of paid and organic LinkedIn and experience managing paid search campaigns however this could be via agency.You will be comfortable working within brand guidelines, creating impactful digital designs across channels, and using data insights to inform creative decisions.
