Macildowie is working with a client based in Nottingham to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role.

Role Overview: As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will own the digital marketing strategy, collaborating with external agencies to deliver and optimize SEO, PPC, remarketing, email marketing, and paid social advertising. You will work closely with the Marketing Campaigns Manager to create effective lead generation campaigns and develop a thought leadership reputation in the drug discovery industry. Your responsibilities will include website maintenance, managing marketing automation workflows via CRM, coordinating with agencies and suppliers, and reporting against KPIs to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize digital marketing strategies across various channels.
  • Collaborate on lead generation and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and manage the company website with a focus on user experience and conversion optimization.
  • Manage marketing automation and CRM workflows.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Provide extensive reporting on KPIs to senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Experience in the pharma, biotech, or drug discovery/development industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Content Management Systems and marketing automation software (ideally HubSpot).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with metrics.
