Digital Marketing Manager

This world leading life science organisation, based in the UK, US and Canada, with its HQ based in Nottingham, is looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to join their Marketing team in Nottingham. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office 3-4 times a week.
In this pivotal role, you will own, manage, and shape end-to-end digital marketing projects while developing successful strategies to elevate all marketing initiatives and activities. Leveraging various digital channels and tools-including SEO, PPC, website, email marketing, and paid social advertising- you will drive impactful activities and measurable results.
You'll collaborate closely with the wider marketing department and the Marketing Campaigns Manager to design and deliver effective lead-generation and thought-leadership campaigns to the market. Experience with digital tools in a B2B environment is desirable but not essential.

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ownership of the digital marketing strategy, with the support of external agencies, delivering and continually optimizing SEO, PPC, remarketing, email marketing, and paid social advertising.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing Campaigns Manager and others to create and deliver effective lead generation campaigns to the market
- Support the Marketing Campaigns Manager in the development of a branded, thought leadership reputation in the drug discovery industry through delivery of effective integrated marketing campaigns.
- Website maintenance and management, keeping continuous user experience, conversion rate, and mobile optimization top of mind.
- Potential to lead new website development in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Manage and optimise marketing automation and workflows including via CRM
- End-to-end management of online marketing projects. Digital channel account management.
- Coordination of agencies and other external suppliers. Assistance in maintaining the marketing budget.
- Extensive reporting against KPI's for senior / board level stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in management of digital marketing strategy and tools
- Experience from pharma, biotech or drug discovery / development industry is desirable, however not essential.
- Project Management experience.
- Understanding and demonstrable experience of Content Management Systems
- Marketing Automation Software skills and experience (ideally HubSpot).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines
- Qualified to degree level in subjects such as Business, Marketing, or Information Technology desirable or to degree level in other subjects.
- Strong mathematical skills, comfortable working with numbers and making sense of metrics.
