We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to join a Primary Academy we are supporting. This is a dynamic role where you will work closely with a specific child to support their individual learning and development needs. As a 1:1 Support, you will be part of a school committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment for all students, this role includes personal support and changing for the 1:1 child.

About the Role:

As a 1:1 Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to a specific child with changing needs, adapting strategies as necessary to help them succeed academically and socially.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to plan and implement personalized learning programs.
  • Help the child develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning.
  • Support the child in engaging with the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
  • Monitor the child's progress and provide regular feedback to the teaching team and parents.
  • Promote independence and self-confidence in the child, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
