We are supporting a Primary school who is looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis until Easter, with the potential to transition to a full-time role.

The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 students, including providing SEN support for those who need additional help with their learning.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons in maths, English, and other core subjects.
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with specific learning needs.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported.
  • Supporting behaviour management and encouraging positive student engagement.
