Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you have a heart as big as a classroom? We're seeking a vibrant and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in Nottingham on a permanent basis. Your priority is to support students with Special Educational Needs, fostering an environment where every learner can shine brightly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the needs of all young people are met.
  • Plan, assess and review the education day of every individual holistically.
  • Undertaking activities to support physical, emotional and social development.
  • Establishing positive relationships with young people and parents/carers to ensure partnership working between school and home.
  • Behaviour management.
  • Assisting with personal hygiene where necessary, as well as giving advice and guidance to pupils. This may include support with personal/intimate care.
  • Undertaking other duties as reasonably expected of a teaching assistant.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in Teaching and Learning
  • Supporting children and/or young people with SEN in a Class / Learning environment
  • Relevant CPD including specific Safeguarding and Child Protection modules
  • Right to work in UK
  • Driving licence (desired not essential)
