Teaching Assistant | Nottingham, NG3 | £95- £105 per day | Long Term - Permanent

LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students in a welcoming secondary school located in the Nottingham, NG3 area. The successful candidate will join a supportive and successful school, rated Ofsted 'Good', taking a positive approach to supporting students with a passion for helping them to reach their full potential.

This is a long term role, with a permanent opportunity.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Offer individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff and parents to build a supportive network
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to understand the students learning styles, strengths and challenges of individual students
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters a sense of value and support for all students
  • Develop positive relationships with students, guiding them in adhering to school rules and expectations

Person Specification:

  • A relevant qualification or degree in education, special education, or a related field is desirable
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learning needs, adapt learning and provide tailored support
  • An up to date DBS and two references
