Ecologist - Nottingham!

A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a talented Ecologist to join its team in Nottingham. This role offers the chance to contribute to diverse projects, from urban green spaces to large-scale infrastructure developments, while supporting biodiversity conservation and sustainable practices.

The role will be suited for someone wanting a blend of fieldwork and consultancy as you will be working on ecological surveys, assessments, and innovative environmental management solutions.

The company offer an excellent package including a competitive salary, charity paid days, paid memberships and team social days throughout the year. There is also the option to work from home a few days a week.

For this role, you will be involved in;

  • A variety of protected species surveys,
  • Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA),
  • Writing a range of Ecological reports including PEAs, PRAs, EIAs, EcIAs,
  • Liaising with clients, project managers and stakeholders,
  • Preparing fee proposals.
