The Role:
If you are AAT level 4 you would be an Accountancy Student Mentor for AAT levels 2 - 4. If you are CIMA or ACCA then you would support this higher level of learner.
Following a first class train the trainer induction, you would be allocated a cohort of learners. You would support those learners through their studies.
You would be supported and mentored throughout because the company is Ofsted regulated so exceptional training delivery is vital.
Having a background in accountancy means you can use your personal experiences to convert accountancy theory into practical. Having been through the qualifications yoursef means you will understand the challenges learners face and you'll be best placed to help.
You will have the opportunity to study for formal training qualifications. This means you will work towards becoming a fully fledged Accountancy Tutor.
An Accountancy Student Mentor is just the first step on the career ladder within work based learning. There is a well defined career path so you can work towards improving your career status.
This is a full time, permanent role and must be conducted within office hours.
