Location: Holme Lodge, 1 Julian Rd, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 5AQ
Rate Of Pay: 拢11.55 per hour
Shift Patterns: 42hrs a Week guaranteed - Full Time, Permanent, Nights
Information about the Role:
Working as a Care Team Leader at Holme Lodge your duties will include the following:
路 Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Support Workers.
路 Administer medication, conduct assessments.
路 Ensure that care plans are kept up to date.
路 Respect the dignity and preferences of the people we support as well playing your own part in establishing a home where everyone feels safe and confident to live their best life.
路 Be involved and deliver daily activities to the people we support.
路 Manage and help organise the duty rota.
路 Carrying out duties as requested by senior management.
Information about the Service:
We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long term neurological conditions including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head/brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson鈥檚 disease, speech impairment, spina bifida and hydrocephalus.
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Team Leader:
路 NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
路 Ideally 6 month or more experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant / Senior Support Worker / Team Leader or Deputy Manager in Mental Health.
路 Passionate about making a difference in someone else鈥檚 life.
路 Good communication skills.
路 Able handle sometimes challenging situations.
路 Fun, energetic and able to build relationships with many different people.
