Team Leader Needed in Nottingham

Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a Team Leader to work within our client's nursing home in Nottingham. The client is looking for someone experienced and competent for the role to ensure the highest standards of care are met and that you are accurately and correctly following orders from the nurses and senior care assistants on shift.

Team Leader vacancy details:

  • £13.76 per hour - increasing to £15.50 after probation.
  • Full time contract - 42 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • This position is a mixture of day shifts and night shifts to meet the needs of the service.

Team Leader main duties:

  • To manage and lead the Learning Disabilities Team to improve choice and quality of life for adults with learning disabilities who meet the criteria for a service through the use of timely interventions and/or review and reassessment that maximise long-term independence and minimise ongoing support.
  • The Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operational case management, assessment and delivery of specialist health and social care interventions for adults with learning disabilities operating within a culture of continuous service improvement and safety to ensure professional standards and best practice are embedded throughout the team.

Team Leader Person Specification:

  • Experience managing a team within a Learning Disability or Mental Health facility previously.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum is essential or working towards.
  • At least 2 years' experience within a Senior / Team Leader role or prior major experience within the LD or MH field.
  • To be able to meet the needs of the service - only day shifts, or a mixture of day shifts and night shifts.
