Overview

I am working with a Nottingham-based client of mine who are seeking an Associate level Electrical Engineer. They have recently secured a huge multi-use scheme & a NDA project worth close to 400mil. Their other projects include Various decarbonization feasibilities, new build Hospitals, Schools & Hotels. They work across all RIBA stages whilst getting involved in site surveys and feasibility reports on site.

You'll be overseeing a team of 2 Electrical Engineers Answering questions, QAing work etc) whilst focusing on the technical delivery of projects.

There is no requirement to win work but there is a bonus scheme in place if you do. For example, if you bring in a new client you will receive 2% of the first 12 months income from that client. There is also a shared success bonus of 3% salary bonus paid out yearly. This significantly supplements your earning potential.

Despite being primarily WFH (1 day in office a month), the Nottingham office hosts around 6 socials a year including a big company conference with their Manchester and Birmingham office.

Role

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be expected to report to the Directors and run a small team of electrical engineers with the delivery of projects.

Ideally you will have:

  • An Electrical Engineering Degree or Building services Related (Essential).
  • CIBSE Chartership (Ideal)
  • Ability to running projects autonomously
  • Maintaining and developing business relationships.
  • Have a knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, DIALux, Amtech, Navisworks (preference)
  • Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines.
  • Have the right to work within the UK
