Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join the team in Nottingham. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems that are efficient, compliant, and meet the needs of our diverse projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to develop their career in a collaborative and innovative consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical designs from concept through to completion for various projects in sectors such as Education, Commercial, and Residential.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create practical and innovative electrical design solutions.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Support senior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and sustainable practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
  • Good understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
