Our client is well-established in the industry, known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across various sectors. They are currently looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team and support ongoing projects.


Job Responsibilities/Objectives

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of critical infrastructure. Key duties include:

1. Conducting electrical repair, servicing, and installation of mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment.
2. Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks as instructed by the Contract Manager.
3. Fault finding, testing, and repairing M&E building services equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
4. Maintaining accurate site records and updating completed tasks in the site's computerised maintenance system.


Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. NVQ Level 3
2. Proven track record in installation and maintenance in EV
3. Strong knowledge of M&E building services equipment and associated systems.
4. Experience in fault finding, testing, and preventative maintenance.


Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Experience working with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
2. Relevant certifications in electrical engineering or building services.
3. Knowledge of non-specialist building fabric maintenance.
