About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects across various sectors, ensuring profitability and alignment with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for electrical installations and maintenance projects.
• Identify material, labor, and equipment requirements and calculate associated costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate costings and competitive pricing.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and emerging technologies.
• Attend site visits and client meetings to gain insights into project scope and complexities.
• Maintain a database of cost information, supplier contacts, and historical data for future reference.
• Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering discussions with clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred but not essential).
