Cherry is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer for a permanent position in Derbyshire, offering an excellent salary.
The role involves delivering projects across the UK while ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
Candidates should have an appropriate electrical qualification and a good working knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with familiarity in BS EN 61439-1 and BS EN 61439-2.
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, diagnosing faults and ensuring compliance with test practices.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field is preferred.

Electrical Test Engineer | Derbyshire | Permanent | Excellent SalaryCherry are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer for a forward thinking and expanding Manufacturing company. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects across the UK as part of our wider production team ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.Responsibilities:• Complete test documentation and validate test certificate.• Ability to programme various programmable devices e.g. protection relays, IMS devices etc.• Liaise with Technical Leads / Engineering Manager to produce relevant CE marking and test certification.• Ensure LV Product meets the Company Technical Standards to ensure full compliance with BS EN 61439-1 & BS EN 61439-2.• Ensure LV Product is wired and functions correctly to the schematic wiring diagrams against a set pre-defined test criteria.• Testing of Motor Control Centres/Switchboards both Low and Medium Voltage ProductsIdeal Candidate:• An appropriate electrical qualification e.g. City & Guilds 51c (Technician) or NVQ/SVQ equivalent is required.
