This company are a leading manufacturer in low voltage assemblies, control systems and systems integration. They operate in a range of sectors including energy, oil and gas, nuclear and water. This Nottingham-based company are seeking a graduate Electrical Engineer to join the team to support with the testing. Working with an experienced team you will have a varied workload which will help progress your knowledge and skills. You will be part of a team where you will test the function and electrical aspects as part of the quality procedures. Reading and interpreting electrical and schematic drawing is an essential part of this role. This will be a hands on role where you will be involved in the testing and commissioning of electrical, control, and instrumentation. While working within the Electrical testing team, you will work on large scale projects, this will be covering a wide range of complex process equipment. This role will be predominately shop floor based with some office based work, you may also be required do on-site work on occasion. This is a nurturing company who will provide the necessary training.  They will also help with extra training qualifications to help you develop within the workplace including the enrolment onto the RSE Graduate programme. Essential Skills
  • Degree level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Interest in Automation and control panels
  • Any knowledge of power, gas, oil, nuclear water and water waste treatment processes would be advantageous
  • Software experience/knowledge
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings
  • Communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and flexibility in approach
  • Be able to deal with challenges and requests
  • Ability to work on their own initiative
