Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)
A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Nottingham team. The Role:
- Provide technical support and expertise in Electrical and building services engineering
- Report to the senior team on progress, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and within budget
- Manage and mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance
- Engage in feasibility studies, design work, and project management
- Meet clients to establish project briefs, budgets, and specifications
- Oversee site works, ensure compliance with specifications, and handle contractor final accounts
- Support fee invoicing, manage workload, and advise on resources
- Pursue marketing opportunities and grow the client base
Requirements:
- Degree/Masters in Engineering
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Member of CIBSE or similar professional body
- Proven experience managing M&E teams
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Trimble ProDesign
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and sustainability best practices
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
