Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Nottingham team. This role offers a chance to provide electrical and building services engineering expertise on diverse projects, including working closely with MoD contracts. The Role:

  • Provide technical support and expertise in Electrical and building services engineering
  • Report to the senior team on progress, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and within budget
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance
  • Engage in feasibility studies, design work, and project management
  • Meet clients to establish project briefs, budgets, and specifications
  • Oversee site works, ensure compliance with specifications, and handle contractor final accounts
  • Support fee invoicing, manage workload, and advise on resources
  • Pursue marketing opportunities and grow the client base

Requirements:

  • Degree/Masters in Engineering
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Member of CIBSE or similar professional body
  • Proven experience managing M&E teams
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Trimble ProDesign
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and sustainability best practices
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
