Your new companyWe are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious consultancy firm known for its award-winning multidisciplinary services. The company specialises in mechanical and electrical building services designs, focusing on reducing CO2 emissions and lowering energy and running costs for clients. They are committed to staying ahead of industry developments and are accredited by Investors in People.Your new roleAs an Electrical Engineer in the M&E department based in Nottingham, you will manage individual projects, prepare designs for tender, write technical reports, conduct surveys, and liaise with clients and contractors. You will attend project and design team meetings, provide support to senior staff, and engage in continuous professional development. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality management systems is essential. What you'll need to succeed

  • HNC/D or degree in a relevant field (degree preferred)
  • Understanding of current building regulations and the construction industry design and procurement process
  • Familiarity with IET wiring regulations (18th Edition)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, and Hevacomp (or equivalent)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ambition to progress
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage your own workload
