Omega are supporting the largest electrical and solar installer in their search for a Solar PV Installer to join their fast-expanding team working around the Nottingham Area. Starting on £490 per week for the first 3 months, you will then move to a price work model.

This role includes helping move materials, working on scaffolding and assisting fitting the panels as a team. You will be expected to ensure the site is kept clean and tidy, unloading, and assisting with deliveries and general labouring duties. The right Solar PV Installer will join a motivated team that has an emphasis on delivering quality installations in this exciting industry.

Key Responsibilities – Solar PV Installer

  • Installation of Solar PV on new build, domestic & commercial properties.
  • Setting out and stringing the panels as per the design provided.
  • Running and connecting the DC cables.
  • Gathering photo evidence.
  • Completing relevant forms through our app-based system.

Qualifications & Requirements – Solar PV Installer

  • Practical experience in the construction industry or similar would be an advantage.
  • IPAF and telehandler licence a distinct advantage.
  • Methodical, accurate and process focused approach to tasks.
  • Flexibility to work and travel throughout the UK.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, follow technical drawings measure distances, and perform calculations using phone or calculator.
  • CSCS card and site experience is preferable but not necessary.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
