Job Role: PLC Controls role
Location: Nottingham - onsite role
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Earthstream are recruiting PLC Controls Engineers to join leading automation company specialising in material handling systems.
The role
The role will involve developing PLC code and associated processes from scratch and liaising and coordinating 'in house' electrical Eplan or Autocad design engineers through the design phase leading up to then taking the lead role in implementing final commissioning to handover stage at clients sites throughout the UK and occasionally Europe or International.
Requirements:
- This opportunity would suit an experienced PLC commissioning engineer familiar with Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms using Step 7 / TIA Portal / Logix5000 packages.
- Experience with conveyor systems / warehouse ASRS systems would be an advantage.
- Developing PLC code and associated processes from scratch.
- Implementing final commissioning to handover stage
- Good knowledge of electrical schematic drawings and electrical safety circuits
