Technical Support Engineer

A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery have two new vacancies due to continued success.

We seek x2 office based Technical Support Engineers to provide telephone and remote support assistance to their loyal customer base.

This position is based out of their Notingham office - North of the City.

In addition to providing first class technical support, you will also organise and schedule visits and work for theirfield service technicians.

You will orgainise machine installations, commissioning work and training on new and used machines.

Whilst you will naturally be comfortable dealing with people overthe phone, you will assist with supporting field technicians and customers with any software issuesn orelectrical and mechanical breakdowns..

Having strong organisational skills, you will be a confident communicator, have a good knowledge of mechanical and electrical competencies, be autonomous and methodical in your approach to fault finding remotely and above all be customer focused and enjoy giving great customer service.

You will have a good understanding of computers and software and ideally you will have an understanding of PLC's, although not entirely essential and by no means a deal breaker if you are a technical fast learner.

Any knowledge orexperience of CNC machines also an advantage to the role.
