Trainee Energy Assessor

This is a great opportunity to join a growing independent environmental specialist firm who provide expert compliance services to the built environment. They are currently on the lookout for a Junior Energy Assessor to join their Compliance team in their offices based in Nottingham.

Role responsibilities for a Junior Energy Assessor:

  • Produce SAP assessments and statements, as well as carrying out sustainability reports and strategies.
  • Carrying out energy assessments and EPCs for new builds and ensure projects are in compliance with Part L regulations.
  • Work alongside the construction team and clients by providing advice and solutions to ensure targets are met.
  • Produce energy strategies and decarbonization reports.
  • The role can open up to other areas of the industry such as air pressure testing

The ideal Junior Energy Assessor will have:

  • Relevant experience in an energy assessor role delivering EPC's for commercial and non-domestic projects
  • An energy assessor qualification such an OCDEA or NDEA would be beneficial
  • Experience with industry standard software's such as IES-VE or SBEM
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
