Who we need
The Animal Science department have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious person to join our team as curriculum support for a busy vocational area of Nottingham College.
The successful candidate will:
路 Have effective organisational ability and excellent communication skills working with both students and staff.
路 Hold key roles include daily care and husbandry of the animals in the unit,
路 Prepare for and delivering practical based lessons each week,
路 Prepare animals and equipment for practical assessments,
路 Write risk assessments and procedures
路 Keep animal records up to date and ordering, tracking and taking delivery of animal resources orders.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the animal industry with a range of small mammals and exotic species.

With previous experience of working in the animal care sector we are looking for a candidate who is adaptable to the workings of the area, well organised and can work with colleagues and students in a patient and objective manner. We are also looking for a candidate who:
