Your new companyMy client are a leading financial services company based in the Midlands. They are seeking a lead Collections Analyst to drive collections strategies and are open to a fully remote environment with the ability for occasional travel to the East Midlands. Your new role

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive collections strategies for various customer segments and stages of delinquency.
  • Monitor and analyze repayment rates, identify trends, and find opportunities for improvement throughout the collections process.
  • Lead the creation of advanced data models to predict customer behaviour and optimise collection methods.
  • Work with internal teams to improve customer communication strategies and ensure adherence to Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Design and implement testing frameworks to assess the effectiveness of collection strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, CONC requirements, and internal policies.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements in debt collection strategies.
  • Use advanced analytics to innovate arrears collections strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to integrate new data sources and improve collections efficiency.
  • Analyze portfolio trends and key performance indicators, conducting in-depth analysis of collection performance metrics.
  • Support initiatives for vulnerable customers and ensure fair treatment in all collection activities.
  • Develop and maintain management information reports for senior stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in PPC management, with proven experience in Financial Services
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and experience handling large datasets
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or R for data analysis would be an advantage
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI, or similar data visualisation tools would also be an advantage
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Credit requirements
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience of developing and implementing collection strategies in a regulated environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and process-oriented mindset for continuous improvements
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on customer outcomes
