Food Production Operative

Your Role:

As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Machine minding, ensuring equipment runs smoothly
• Mixing, stirring, and finishing products to prepare them for dispatch
• Manual handling and lifting of products
• Operating a clean as you go system, including cleaning machines and workspaces
• Quality checks to ensure products meet standards
• Following health and safety regulations outlined during induction and training

What we’re looking for:

• Flexibility in working hours (you’ll be working 5 days out of 7)
• Immediate availability to start work
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Own transport, as there are no public transport links to the site

Key Responsibilities:

• Mixing and quality checking products
• Lifting and wrapping products
• Adding ingredients to the product

What’s in it for you:

• Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (weekly wage of £457, rising up to £500 with overtime)
• Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (Weekdays: 05:30-15:00, Weekends: 05:30-13:00)
• Contract: Temporary to permanent placement (12 weeks)
• Free on-site car parking
• Full PPE provided
