This role could be ideal for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader looking to step into management, or an experienced AP Manager who thrives on driving process improvements and supporting team development.
About the Role
This full-time, permanent position offers a hybrid working arrangement (following a six-month training period). You will lead a small, highly skilled purchase ledger team, working collaboratively to enhance processes, ensure workload efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
As a hands-on manager, you’ll play a key role in mentoring your team, providing guidance, and addressing escalated issues. This is your chance to make a tangible impact within a department known for its expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the purchase ledger team on a day-to-day basis.
- Collaborate with the finance leadership team to implement process improvements.
- Oversee and manage the team’s workload, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Act as the first point of contact for escalated queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Audit and approve multi-currency payment runs.
