- Month-End Close: Oversee and support the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- KPI Reporting: Prepare and analyze key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- P&L Analysis: Examine and analyze the performance of the Profit & Loss statement to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Management Accounts Pack: Assist in the creation and presentation of the management accounts pack, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present financial data to non-finance stakeholders in an easily understandable manner, providing financial guidance and support.
- Query Management: Address and resolve financial queries in a timely and efficient manner, fostering positive relationships across the business.
- Proven experience in a finance role with a focus on month-end close, KPI reporting, and management accounts.
- Strong macro-level understanding of finance with the ability to drill down into the detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to analz large datasets.
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude with a focus on improving financial processes and business performance.
- Comfortable presenting to and interacting with senior stakeholders across the business.
- A part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
