Finance Manager – Global SME

Location:         Nottingham on a Hybrid basisSalary:              £60,000 to £75,000

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding global SME, is looking for a skilled Qualified Accountant to join their team during an exciting period of transformation under new ownership. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking business and make a real impact on its financial operations at a group level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the CFO, you will manage accounting operations across European entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead the consolidation of group financials, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, with quarterly reporting to shareholders
  • Oversee payroll, expenses, purchase ledger, VAT, tax, and other financial processes
  • Deliver weekly forecasts, ensuring effective cash flow management and debt collection
  • Oversee procurement and customer invoicing processes
  • Work closely with outsourced shared services to drive efficiency improvements
  • Manage compliance and audit processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Finance Team on key projects, including ERP/MRP system enhancements and business scale-up initiatives

About You:This role is perfect for someone transitioning from an accountancy practice or someone who has already moved into industry but is still technically strong, seeking the next step in their career.

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with a strong grasp of accounting principles, particularly in consolidations and cash flows
