Finance Manager (6-Month Contract)

Location: Wollaton, Nottingham

Salary: £50,000 (pro-rata)

Hybrid: 4 days on site 

Are you an experienced Finance Manager seeking a rewarding short-term opportunity within the charity sector? We are looking for a talented individual to join a leading charitable organisation on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the charity’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with charity finance regulations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow management.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, supporting key decision-making processes.
• Manage financial risks and ensure that internal controls are effectively maintained.
• Lead and support the finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear financial insights to senior leaders.
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• The ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
