What You’ll Be Doing
- 50% BAU / 50% process improvement – month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Revamping outdated processes – lots of low-hanging fruit in regards to systems and process
- Driving system efficiencies – improving Power BI and Salesforce workflow
- Supporting acquisitions – preparing for future M&A activity
- Hands-on finance work – from month end to finance transformation projects
- Training and development – while there are no direct reports, you’ll help up skill the team
The Business & Finance Function
- Growing team: Increasing headcount across all areas of the business, investing in the future
- Systems: Currently use a mix of bespoke, excel & Power BI integration – plenty of scope for improvement
- Future opportunities: Potential to evolve into a more senior operational finance or FP&A / Commercial Finance role as the business expands

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience in finance systems and process improvement—you’ll be streamlining and modernising outdated processes.
- A solid understanding of management accounting, revenue recognition, and stock accounting.
- Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders across finance and operations.
- Exposure to M&A, transaction services, or services & support contract revenue reporting (desirable but not essential).
- A hands-on approach—you’ll need to roll up your sleeves but also operate at a strategic level.
- Ambition to progress—this role is a great stepping stone towards Financial Controller, FP&A, or Commercial Finance.
