Exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a manufacturing company in Hucknall, near Nottingham. Our client manufactures innovative, sustainable, reliable organic-certified garden care products. With a history dating back to 1946, they invest in maintaining a reputation for excellence and growth in the UK, as well as expansion across Europe through its EU division.

Following recent acquisition by a larger global group, this is an exciting time of transformation, offering a unique chance to play a key role in shaping financial processes and driving efficiency.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions. Youll partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financial analysis, manage budgeting & forecasting, and support operational profitability improvements. Your leadership will also extend to managing a small but dynamic finance team.

Finance Manager requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong people management & business partnering skills
  • Flexible and able to manage positive change in a continuous improvement environment
  • Confident communicator able to explain financial data to non-financial colleagues
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (SAP Business One, Navision, or Microsoft AX desirable)
  • Happy to work on site every day (Mon to Fri, 40 hours, flex start / finish times).

Finance Manager package:

  • Salary circa £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays (3 days to be allocated to Christmas Shutdown)
