Ideally this role will be around 26 hours per week spread over three or four days. Days will be Monday & Friday + additional (chosen by you).
FTE salary 40,000 - 45,000 - fully office based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily financial reports and assist with monthly management accounts.
- Process customer invoices, manage receivables, and ensure timely collections.
- Handle supplier payments, maintain purchase ledgers, and manage cash flow.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee company credit card transactions.
- Process payroll, manage timesheets, and handle employee expenses.
- Generate and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Assist with withholding tax documentation and audit preparation.
- Support general office admin, including headcount reporting and office supply management.
- Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent).
- Experience with Sage software and strong financial reporting skills.
- Payroll, expense management, and banking reconciliation experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Sage and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
