- Statutory Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements for the group, ensuring full compliance with FRS 102 and other relevant standards.
- Treasury Management: Oversee the group’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity and optimising financial risk management through effective policies and forecasting.
- Internal Audit: Develop and implement a robust internal audit framework to assess and improve the group’s financial controls, reporting directly to the CFO and Audit Committee.
- Tax Compliance: Manage corporate tax returns, advise on tax matters, and oversee the production of RDEC returns.
- Audit Coordination: Act as the key liaison with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and timely resolution of any issues.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least four years of post-qualification experience.
- Extensive experience in statutory reporting, financial controls, and treasury management.
- A strong understanding of FRS 102 and relevant accounting standards.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
