Group Reporting ManagerLocation: Nottingham | Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Hybrid WorkingWe are recruiting on behalf of an innovative and growing company, seeking a talented Group Reporting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with the potential to progress to Finance Director in the future.The Role:Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory financial reporting, managing the group’s treasury function, and leading internal audits. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations while contributing to the company's financial strategy.Key Responsibilities:
  • Statutory Reporting: Lead the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements for the group, ensuring full compliance with FRS 102 and other relevant standards.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee the group’s cash flow, ensuring liquidity and optimising financial risk management through effective policies and forecasting.
  • Internal Audit: Develop and implement a robust internal audit framework to assess and improve the group’s financial controls, reporting directly to the CFO and Audit Committee.
  • Tax Compliance: Manage corporate tax returns, advise on tax matters, and oversee the production of RDEC returns.
  • Audit Coordination: Act as the key liaison with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and timely resolution of any issues.
About You:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least four years of post-qualification experience.
  • Extensive experience in statutory reporting, financial controls, and treasury management.
  • A strong understanding of FRS 102 and relevant accounting standards.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
