My client is recruiting for a Legal Practice Manager, who can work under the direction of our Directors and alongside our Head of Finance and HR Manager. This is a full-time position based in our Nottingham Head Office, to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of the firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills with the ability to manage their own workload proactively and effectively.

Key Duties Include:

  • Dealing with all areas of legal compliance and regulatory matters
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks to include GDPR and Cyber Security
  • Management of internal and external Audits
  • Day to day management of all premises, leases, office relocations and the opening of new offices, to include liaising on office contracts and suppliers
  • Technology, facilities and information management
  • Implementing strategic plans and goals for the practice
  • Identifying growth and business development opportunities
  • Streamlining legal processes to improve and enhance the business
  • Participation and contribution in office, practice and team meetings as and when required

The Successful Cadidate will have the following skills:

  • Forward thinking, with an eye for detail, professional, consistent, and confidential always
  • Demonstrable experience in a Legal environment with knowledge of SRA and Lexcel requirements
  • Priority will be given to those with relevant legal experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office applications.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels professionally and confidentially.
  • Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, professional, and personable team player

The salary range for this position is £42,000-£50,000 dependant on experience.
