Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring timely delivery of self-assessment tax returns
- Providing bespoke advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, residency and trust matters
- Reviewing complex tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
- Acting as a point of contact for client queries and developing long-term advisory relationships
- Supporting senior leadership with tax planning projects and advisory work
- Liaising with HMRC on client matters and ensuring compliance is maintained
- Contributing to internal training and mentoring junior team members

Candidate requirements
- CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in personal tax
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and planning
- Experience managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals or complex personal tax cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach to delivering advice
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff is an advantage
