Financial Analysis Assistant needed in Nottingham, hybrid working (Wednesdays in the office) starting ASAP. This role pays £15 per hour. Full time hours (37 hours). Financial experience needed, along with a sound knowledge of excel and analysis/report writing. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Assisting with monitoring the financial performance of the organisation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and other reports as required by the business.
  • Assisting with the analysis of short- and long-term financial trends, and the use of this analysis to inform future forecasting. 
  • Assisting in the analysis of the performance of sales and expenditure versus budget, and the use of this analysis to both inform future budgeting, and suggest actions to maximise profitability. 
  • Assisting in the analysis of performance against cash flow forecasts, and the use of this analysis to both inform future forecasting, and suggest actions to maximise cash flow performance. 
  • Assisting the Finance Team as and when required, with tasks including, but not limited to, invoicing and credit control. 
  • Supporting the Finance Team to achieve agreed targets and improve planning.
  • Setting an example for others in terms of commitment, attention to detail, worth ethic, and personal character. 
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Adhering to all organisational policies and procedures.
  • Interacting and co-operating with all members of the organisation and its suppliers and customers, where required.
