Working Site Joinery Foreman/Woman - Nottingham


Linsco Recruitment are looking for a working foreman / woman to work for a well established construction and maintenance company in Nottingham. The role is a temp to perm position and paid as PAYE.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Site working Foreman/Woman with a strong background in construction, refurbishments and fit out projects and from a Joinery background. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, managing project time-lines and spending approx 40% of the time on the tools.

The position is based from the head office in Nottingham but would require you to work on various projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues that may impact project delivery.

Monitor and manage project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

Resource Management:

Manage the allocation of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a working supervisor in interior fit-out construction projects.

Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.

Joinery background

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members
