LTF Recruitment have partnered with a number of secondary schools, located across Nottingham, to appoint Behaviour Mentors to join on a long term to permanent basis.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to provide emotional, social and behavioural support. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behaviours, improving student engagement and contributing to the schools positive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 and group mentoring sessions to students to address behavioural and emotional challenges
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and parents to create and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting on outcomes
  • Conduct workshops and activities that promote social skills, resilience and positive behaviour
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school wide behaviour policies and initiatives

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working with young people in an educational setting, or in a similar capacity
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional support strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff and parents
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
