Are you passionate about making a real difference in students' lives? Do you have the skills and experience to support young people with their behaviour, academic progress and personal development?

Long Term Futures is working with several secondary schools across Nottingham to recruit Behaviour Mentors on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students overcome challenges and promote positive behaviour.

The Role:

  • Provide 1-1 and group mentoring to help students tackle behavioural and emotional challenges.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress, keeping accurate records and reporting on outcomes.
  • Lead activities that help students build social skills, resilience, and promote positive behaviour.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
  • A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional support strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
