Are you looking for a new, rewarding role? Are you confident in your ability to lead lessons?

LTF Recruitment are looking to appoint a cover supervisor for an inclusive and welcoming secondary school located in Nottingham, NG11 area. The role will involve providing cover support when teachers are absent/during PPA. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated and have strong classroom management skills with an aim to make meaningful impact on students lives.

This role is until July 2025, with the potential for a permanent role for the right person after this period.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead classes under guidance and instructions set by the teacher
  • Communicate with the teacher, providing feedback and updates on student progression and behaviour
  • Maintain effective classroom management, ensuring that behaviour is in line with school expectations
  • Provide general support to students across the school
  • Maintain professionalism by ensuring that the values and expectations of the school are met

Experience/ Requirements:

  • An interest in sports is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience within an education setting
  • Confidence and the ability to lead classes
  • Experience as a cover supervisor is desirable, however experienced teaching assistants are encouraged to apply
