Are you a skilled Procurement professional looking to make a tangible impact? We’re seeking a Head of Procurement to lead, innovate, and drive efficiencies in procurement practices. This role offers flexibility as either a fixed-term contract or permanent position.

The Role

You will establish a Procurement Centre of Excellence, delivering measurable results through effective supplier management, cost control, and continuous improvement. Leading a professional team, you’ll drive procurement strategies, ensure policy compliance, and foster operational success across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement policies to control costs and support stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring long-term value and strong relationships.
  • Design and track KPIs to drive team accountability and performance.
  • Mitigate risk through robust supplier management and strategic initiatives.
  • Motivate and coach the team to achieve savings and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with international teams to maximise supplier leverage.

About You

  • 5+ years’ management experience (teams of 6+).
  • 5+ years’ procurement expertise with strong supplier relationship management skills.
  • Full CIPS qualification and degree-level education.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of maintenance/production processes (desirable but not essential).
