We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a university student studying Visual Effects Production Technology at Nottingham Trent University

Start Date: September 2024
Location: Nottingham Trent (NG1 4FQ)
Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off

Rate of Pay & Benefits
Pay: £150 per day

Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided
On-call support from client coordinator

About our Client

Our client is a huge MMA enthusiast and enjoys watching live fights.. He also love listening to bands such as System of a Down, Triviam and Die Antwood and is keen to get out hear some live music. As well as enjoying a good home cooked meal, our client also spends his spare time having a gaming night on his PS5 or laptop and playing Unity or the Unchartered games.

Our client has Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type Two (SMA2) and experiences a widespread lack of strength in his muscles, which hinders various areas of his daily life. He is ready to step out of his comfort zone and try new things whilst navigating university life.

We are looking for a positive, like-minded PA to assist our client with day-to-day living and general support at university with his studies, helping him to lead as independent a life as possible.

Our client would like someone who is supportive and proactive, helping with personal care, socialising, and everyday tasks. This role goes far beyond simply personal care work, it includes all the fun things you would expect a university student to be doing, like going out, seeing friends, day trips or on holiday, and much more!

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

You will need:

-Hold a clean, full UK Driving Licence (desirable)

-To be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly and caring

-Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative

-To have a good sense of humour

-A mature and responsible attitude

-Good communication skills

-To be fluent in English

-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways
