About the Role:
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests on a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring all vehicles are compliant with road safety regulations. You will be an integral part of the team, delivering high-quality service to customers and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct MOT tests on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and legal standards.
Diagnose faults and identify any issues with vehicles during the MOT process.
Provide customers with clear explanations of test results and offer advice on necessary repairs or maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of all MOT tests, repairs, and inspections carried out.
Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, calibrated, and in full working order.
Deliver exceptional customer service, providing professional advice and assistance to customers.
Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Ideally, You Will Have:

Full MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and 7).
Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and MOT testing procedures.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
A valid driving licence.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide professional advice.
A strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
