We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Personal Assistant and Audio Typist to join our clients independent legal firm. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to two Partners, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide PA support to partners, including diary management, travel arrangements and meeting coordination.
  • Perform audio typing of legal documents, correspondence and reports using digital dictation.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
  • Prepare, format and proofread legal documents with accuracy.
  • Maintain and organise confidential legal files and records.
  • Liaise with clients, court officials and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry.
  • Support with HR administration when required.
  • Assist with billing and time recording tasks.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a PA or Legal Secretary within a legal environment.
  • Excellent audio typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is desirable.
  • Experience using legal case management systems is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Additional secretarial qualifications or legal administration training is preferred, but not essential.
