An independent loss adjusting firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RTA/Fraud Investigator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven individual with a strong background in road traffic accident (RTA) investigations and fraud detection. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own diary, conducting investigations, and preparing detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own diary to effectively handle a caseload of RTA and fraud investigations.
  • Conduct investigations in the field, including taking statements from witnesses, claimants, and third parties.
  • Prepare and complete locus plans to support case findings.
  • Write comprehensive reports that outline liability conclusions and fraud indicators.
  • Utilise dedicated software to document and track the investigation process.
  • Work on cases independently, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Travel across a designated region 2-3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home the remainder of the time to write and submit reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in RTA investigations, fraud detection, or a similar investigative role.
  • Strong knowledge of the claims and insurance industry, particularly in the context of RTA and fraud cases.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-supported conclusions.
  • Experience in using investigation software tools and technology to support case management.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
