Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Analyst

Sector: Manufacturing/Retail

We are currently seeking a dynamic S&OP Analyst to join a leading business in the manufacturing and retail sector. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with UK-based manufacturing operations and European suppliers, collaborating across multiple divisions to drive efficiency and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support both retail and trade divisions with S&OP activities, with a focus on UK manufacturing and European outsourcing partners.
  • Collaborate closely with finance and commercial teams to support monthly S&OP meetings, incorporating sales data into actionable plans.
  • Work alongside key stakeholders in Coventry, Newcastle, and other locations, with occasional travel as required.
  • Manage KPI reporting and data analysis using SAP ERP and SAP BI tools.
  • Play a key role in driving savings initiatives at manufacturing sites, particularly in labor efficiency and production processes.
  • Build strong relationships across various teams, including logistics, materials management, and procurement.

Key Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in supply chain, demand planning, or process planning roles.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in vlookup, hlookup, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a small, tight-knit team.
