Due to expansion we have exciting opportunities for a Senior IT Workshop Engineers. We look after a wide-ranging customer base who use a variety of manufacturers including Lenovo, HP, Apple and Dynabook equipment. You would need to be able to work in a busy, fast paced environment under own initiative or as part of team.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Senior IT Workshop Engineer

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Inspecting, testing and restocking of customer owned equipment and accessories. This will include a test and repair of all products relating to company business, predominantly HP and/ or Lenovo. Ensuring correct software/firmware is used on all repaired equipment, following test and repair procedures.


• Testing and repairing all products relating to company business predominantly HP and Lenovo.
• Ensuring correct software and/ ior firmware is used on all repaired equipment.
• Following test and repair procedures as instructed.
• Updating calls regularly with clear and concise detail on our call management system.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to ensure correct parts are ordered and achieve right first-time repair.
• Deploying via SCCM or USB images to select customers after machines are repaired/refurbished
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of manufacturers training courses in areas of interest and relevance to the business.
• To positively promote the Services Team, acting as a role model through promoting the activities, values and culture of the organisation.

Requirements: Senior IT Workshop Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to install and replace hardware and configure operating systems. You will be able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently, with a good understanding of PC Hardware set-up and configuration.

Previous repairs experience with HP and/ or Lenovo that would be an advantage but is not a necessity.
