Your new companyYou will be joining a market-leading contractor based in Nottingham operating across the infrastructure, transportation, defence and energy industries. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work and boasts an impressive list of high-profile clientele. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team and onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them.

This is a full-time permanent position based in their Nottingham office with the option for flexible working.

Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contractual and financial aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements
  • Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and timely payment processing
  • Performing risk analysis and identifying potential cost savings or value engineering opportunities
  • Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation, contract negotiations and final account agreements
  • Monitoring project progress, variations and claims as well as providing regular reports to stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven experience as an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering industry
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Sound analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
