Role Responsibilities
- Providing specialist VAT advisory services to businesses across a range of sectors
- Advising on complex VAT issues, including international VAT, partial exemption, and property-related VAT matters
- Working closely with clients to identify VAT risks and planning opportunities
- Assisting with VAT implications for corporate transactions, restructuring, and compliance reviews
- Managing HMRC interactions, including dispute resolution and VAT queries
- Supporting internal teams with VAT expertise, offering guidance and technical support
- Staying up to date with UK and international VAT legislation, ensuring clients remain compliant

Candidate Requirements
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ATT qualified, with strong VAT advisory experience
- Experience working in VAT advisory roles within a practice or specialist VAT team
- Strong technical knowledge of UK VAT legislation and international VAT matters
- Ability to translate complex VAT regulations into clear, practical advice for clients
- Excellent client relationship skills, with a commercial mindset
- Experience managing projects and working autonomously
- A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and mentoring junior staff
