Role Responsibilities

Providing specialist VAT advisory services to businesses across a range of sectors
Advising on complex VAT issues, including international VAT, partial exemption, and property-related VAT matters
Working closely with clients to identify VAT risks and planning opportunities
Assisting with VAT implications for corporate transactions, restructuring, and compliance reviews
Managing HMRC interactions, including dispute resolution and VAT queries
Supporting internal teams with VAT expertise, offering guidance and technical support
Staying up to date with UK and international VAT legislation, ensuring clients remain compliant

Candidate Requirements

CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ATT qualified, with strong VAT advisory experience
Experience working in VAT advisory roles within a practice or specialist VAT team
Strong technical knowledge of UK VAT legislation and international VAT matters
Ability to translate complex VAT regulations into clear, practical advice for clients
Excellent client relationship skills, with a commercial mindset
Experience managing projects and working autonomously
A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and mentoring junior staff
